Day Two: The Couch Sessions

Day Two:

Another beautiful day outside, which makes the country drive even more perfect. For those of you who do not know, I live (and was raised) in a little town on the outskirts of Hamilton Ontario. I had a brief stint living in the city (which was great) but my alliances are with open fields, visible stars and crickets. So, driving deeper into the country to get to the studio is familiar and inspiring. After Dave made me tea (today it was orange cinnamon I think)  we sat an listened to yesterday’s recordings. Dave had a great idea for Flow n Flow which got me pumped up. Today we decided to lay down the rest of the songs we are planning on spending time with over the next six months. Floyd had the day off, so myself and Dave’s Guitar started off with Don’t Give into Gray which felt great. Then we played Astrocops and Billie. Shooken Up was not so good, but she’s still breathing. Last to take the mic was J.Bird (a new one).

As for tomorrow plans, they’re a mystery.
