Day Fourteen
Day Fourteen
After listening back to Monday night’s session, Dave thought it would be worth it to break it down a bit more. The Monday takes were awesome, but something just wasn’t clicking. I ended up playing Nina through this tiny vintage Gibson amp. The Barn was alive with rain throughout the day and this was perfect for the song at hand… adding a pinch of melancholy. We got a decent vocal down so we finished the day building a drum part. I am very happy with what Dave played. With the work we did today, the song is starting to tell its story.
Next week I am in the studio two long-ish days. When Dave and myself meet up again, we will attempt another guitar track, and a Shooken Up vocal. We may even try to get an acoustic version of Whole World to Love down. Nite guys
